The Varsity team fell behind early in this final contest of the season and were down 11-18 after the 1st. The rest of the game was even. The Redwings played hard and got to within 2 with less than a minute to play, but weren’t able to close the gap. Final score Redwings 52 Sexton 60. The Redwing finish the season 4-11. Its a strong start for new Head Coach Wade and team, with as many wins in a shortened season as they have posted in the past two years.
The Redwings will take on East Lansing at Waverly HS on Tuesday for the first round of the District Tournament. Good Luck Redwings!
