Ty Fillwock: Age 6
Q: What is your favorite sport?
A: Wrestling
Q: Can you tell me a story that you remember about wrestling?
A: So I went to my first wrestling match. My first wrestling match was experience for me for getting pinned by that guy.
Q: What did you learn from that?
A: The next time I see him I can do better than that.
Q: Can you tell me another story about wrestling?
A: When I went to Grass Lake I pinned one guy and I got 3rd place. And when I got 3rd place I felt proud of myself.
Q: What is your favorite part about wrestling practice?
A: When we roll our necks out and do high knees. When you find 3 other people and the first person is up for the whole entire match and the coach called him 1 and then the next person stays in and then it keeps going like that.
Q: What is the hardest thing about wrestling?
A: When I am live wrestling and I take a bad shot on somebody and the other person sprawls on me and then they can flip me over and get me in a half, so I don’t want them to do that. And that’s the hardest part.
Q: How do you feel about the Regional wrestling tournament getting postponed until the end of April?
A: Worried, mad, sad. I just feel frustrated because it just got canceled because of sickness and I don’t like sickness when it comes right I do not like it.
