After a lost year of middle school swimming, the St. Johns Redwing Middle School Swim/Dive team was back in action today! The Redwings started the season with the North Kickoff Meet at Dewitt High School. Dewitt, Grand Ledge and Waverly competed in the event, while the other league schools participated in their own Kickoffs in East Lansing and Mason.
The Redwings had some great times and have come a long way in the first two weeks of practice. The team is lead by Head Coach Emma Hamelink, Head Diving Coach Ashlee Smith and several volunteers from the Redwings high school swim/dive team. Next up for the Redwings is a dual meet at Grand Ledge on January 11th.
