The Middle School Boys and Girls Cross Country teams ran fast enough to finish before the thunderstorm and come away with two victories! The boys, 27 defeated Lakewood 44 and Ionia 65. They recorded five of the top ten finishes including 2nd, 4th, 5th, 6th and 10th. The girls, 15 defeated Lakewood 58 and Ionia 91. The girls swept the top five spots!
On Thursday, St. Johns will host the St. Johns Invitational with seven teams competing. This meet will be for top 10 runners. The St. Johns boys participating will be Carson Schneider, Ty Wardin, Cole Wardin, Reagan Ward, Vincent Manas, David Thelen, Midder Miller, Keegan Elms, Preston Mills, Cale Denslow and Carter Burgess. The St. Johns girls team will include Ava Schafer, Miriam Kloha, Rachel Kirk, Paige Newman, Courtney Bounds, Lydia Finn, Natalie Stoy, Chloey Roebke, Emma Arts, Aubrey Beltran and Scarlet Morence.
