The first thing I noticed attending tonight’s home Cheer Competition is that the Redwing team has a slightly smaller team than Mason, Fowlerville or Charlotte. The next thing I noticed is that they were not smaller in skill or determination.
There is a lot of skill, strength and teamwork involved in this sport. The teams cheer out loud for the other teams when they are competing. That spirit is contagious and this was the most positive and vocal crowd I have been at all season. I am very excited for the next event, congratulations Coach Shepard and team!
