Calling All Past and Present St. Johns Soccer Club Families!
The Soccer Club is holding a Flapjack Fundraiser at Applebee’s on Saturday, February 29th, 2020, 8am to 10am.
Tickets are $10 per person. Your ticket gets you pancakes and bacon. Beverages are an additional charge paid to Applebee’s. If you are interested in purchasing tickets, please contact Trisha Smith at 231-578-9841 or renaet_99@hotmail.com.
This is going to be a great opportunity for the club! Applebee’s donates 70% of the ticket sales back to the club, as well as all tips left for our club’s volunteer servers!
The club has been in existence since 1995 and continues to grow the offering of soccer opportunities to area youth. The land our complex resides on is leased to the club graciously year by year at no cost, by the Catholic Church, but everything else associated to developing, upgrading, maintaining and running a soccer complex falls directly on our non-profit club. We are not affiliated with the city, county, public school system or any private/commercial entity. Our per player costs have to cover all our expenses for the entire year, which is a huge list. All coaches, board members and every other position that supports the club is 100% volunteer.
Fundraising efforts helps the club financially grow the needed support of soccer in our community.
Thank you,
Randy Padgett
SJSC – President
